Official: GM can finish talks to sell St Pete facility in 6 months

ST. PETERSBURG, Oct 10 (PRIME) -- Several companies are interested in a St. Petersburg facility, where General Motors (GM) halted production in 2015, and the negotiations can finish in six months, Deputy Governor Yevgeny Yelin told reporters late on Wednesday.

“The negotiations are held, but they do not fully depend on us. We have formulated our requirements to all possible interested sides… There are several interested sides now, we are monitoring the negotiations. I think, they will finish in half a year,” he said.
